Presidential Healthcare at Home sends clinicians such as nurses, therapists, and aides to the homes of patients throughout eastern Massachusetts. This includes the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Middlesex, Bristol, and Plymouth. We offer two programs. Home health is a coordinated team response that can include skilled nurses, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and home health aides. In-home physical therapy is for people who need exercise therapy but do not need the full home health treatment. It is like getting outpatient physical therapy at home. We work with Medicare, commercial insurance, and private pay.
The reasons a person may need home health are as varied as the reasons someone would go to the doctor, be hospitalized, or stay at a nursing home. Whether you are trying to manage a potentially serious health condition and avoid an inpatient stay or you are trying to optimize and continue care after an inpatient stay, Presidential Healthcare at Home can help.
As a Medicare certified home health care agency, we provide the following services: skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, home health aide, and home health outpatient services.

There are many reasons people go to physical therapy, and, with Presidential, just as many reasons physical therapy would come to you. Some patients would benefit from continuation of their rehab received in home health or inpatient facilities but are mobile enough that they no longer qualify for home health. Presidential can provide that continuum of care. For senior citizens who spend most of their time at home, rehab at home may be best. You can train to and be cleared for the specific obstacles and challenges in your own home. Of course, many people visit physical therapy for standard orthopedic problems such as back pain or tendinitis. Our in-home physical therapy program serves these people as well.
Patients in this program are *not* required to be homebound. The only requirement is that you need physical therapy. We work with Medicare, commercial insurance, and private pay.
